Starting at 12 noon on June 8th at the picninc pavilion on East Street, please bring a dish to pass and your own table setting. Meat, beverages, raffles and entertainment will be provided. Please join us for this time of food, fun and fellowship.

As of January 1, 2008, we will require that all healers must complete a COLS Church Style Healing workshop before volunteering to heal at church service.  Workshops will be scheduled and announced at regular intervals.

Healer Sign-in Sheet - All healers who plan on healing should sign in on the Healers Sign-In sheet.  Healers will be chosen on a first-come, first-serve basis.  We ask that all healers refrain from message work as part of their church healing.

Healers' Forum
A Healers' Forum will being on Wednesady, May 7th and run unti June 18th at the Mediums' League building. The time is from 6:15 to 7:15 PM. Healers may then serve at the Healing Temple at the 7:30 service. The forum is open to all healers. A love donation is appreciated to help pay for the building use.

Lily Dale Community Healing Service
Every Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm, the churches in Lily Dale - Fellowships of the Spirit, Lily Dale Spiritualist Church and the Church of the Living Spirit - gather at the Healing Temple for a community healing service. A short lecture, hands-on-healing, messages and song provide a mid-week respite from the worries of the world. Everyone is welcome.

Brunch will be at the Fire Hall on East Street immediately following Church.  Mini-Readings at 1:15pm in the Assembly Hall.  Donation:  Lunch $5 ($2 for children), Mini-Reading $7, both for $10.00.
If you would like to volunteer to serve as a Medium, please call Roberta Shafer 595-2966.  If you would like to volunteer to help in the kitchen (food prep, serving or clean-up) and we are in need of help to keep this event going, please call Charlie Dosado at 595-3196.

Free Brunch To The Community

On Mediums' Sunday, (2nd Sunday of each month), we have volunteer drivers who are willing to deliver free lunches to community members who are in need and unable (due to health or age problems) to attend our event at the fire hall.  Anyone that is interested in home delivery, please contact Cara Seekings at 595-2966

FunFest
The time is quickly approaching for the church's biggest fundraiser, our annumal FunFest. Volunteers are always needed to help make this terrifc evening a success. Please contact our chairpersons Jim Walls and Brenda Alongi at 595-2596.

Mediumship Brunch Sunday Raffles
The church is looking for someone who would be interested in being in charge of selling raffles tickets during our Mediumship Sunday Brunches. This could be for the 50/50 drawing or for donated items. If you are interested in doing this, please contact Dot Lazarony at 595-3226.

Church Membership
The new Church year started on September 1st. Please mail your yearly dues ($20) and any name or address changes to COLS, PO Box 224, Lily Dale, NY 14752.

You can pay your dues online.

Energy Savings
  If there is anyone interested in carpooling from the Jamestown area, please contact Bob Reuther.  This can be for church services, classes, etc.
  Heating and electric costs can be reduced by joining the Energy Cooperative of NY.  This coop purchases energy in bulk and passes all the savings on to its members.  You can contact the coop at 716-842-1697 or www.ecny.org .

Flowers
If you would like to donate flowers for Sunday Worship to celebrate or remember a special person or event, or just for the joy of sharing, you can do it!   Cara Seekings 595-2966 or Connie Britton - 366-9041.

Membership Information
To join the Church of the Living Spirit, come to a Philosophy Class. Classes are held the 3rd Sunday year-round, immediately following church. Attendance is required prior to becoming a church member.

Summer Solstice
  The Solstice Service, conducted by Patricia Price, will be held on June 21 at 7pm. Meet at the Inspiration Stump in Lily Dale for an inspirational service in nature. Bring a story, poem or song to share with us, celebrating the longest day of the year and the beauty of Creation.
